The Young Lawyers Division of The Mississippi Bar is sponsoring the “Bridge the Gap: New Lawyer Program” Part 1 on September 27 from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame in Jackson.
The Mississippi Commission on Continuing Legal Education requires each newly-licensed lawyer to complete a new lawyer program comprised of a total of 6 hours of basic skills and 6 hours of ethics/professionalism within two years of admission.
This program by Young Lawyers for Young Lawyers is modestly priced at $200 for 6 hours of CLE and will feature 3 hours of basic skills and 3 hours of ethics/professionalism.
All attorneys are welcome to attend these CLEs, regardless of whether they are required to complete a new lawyer program.
